NEW!! BAHAMA LAMA is a luxurious hand-dyed wool made from baby llama fibre. Baby llama wool is one of the most precious and prestigious fibres, yet it is still little known around the world. What makes it so special is its sheen – it shines as if it contained silk – and it also takes dye beautifully, with colours close to those achieved on synthetics or wool blends with synthetics (I mean superwash). Another wonderful feature of this wool is its resistance to stains and abrasion – and get this! – garments made of baby llama protect against UV rays at high altitudes. Baby llama wool is true luxury and unique beauty. Its softness is comparable to the finest cashmere. The wool insulates against the cold and retains warmth. Perfect for scarves, sweaters and shawls.
Ideal for 2.5-3mm knitting needles. A 100g skein contains 400m. 3 skeins are enough for a size M sweater.
